1. Bakerloo Rave
Police on the Bakerloo Line? It’s not what you think.
Raving commuters kept the party going for several stops before the boys in blue intervened. DJ Discoboy kicked things off before handing the mic to MC Harry Shotta.

The rave took place over the Easter weekend in 2017. Everyone knows Easter is a moveable feast, but for a moment Discoboy and Shotta created a moveable rave.
As the train came into Regents Park, police entered the carriage. After a good natured exchange the music was turned off.

2. Circle Line Party
However, this wasn’t the first underground party…
It used to be legal to booze on the tube. Until former Mayor Boris Johnson changed the law in 2008, you could drink on all forms of public transport.
This legal loophole led to a series of secret Circle line parties, which involved elaborate costumes. To avoid suspicion on the platform, party goers would only reveal their outfits once inside the carriage.

The third and final party took place the night before Johnson’s alcohol ban came into effect. A website for the event still exists. It even includes a set of rules intended to accommodate the driver and other passengers.
Ultimately, seventeen people were arrested and six stations were closed as the party got out of hand.
3. District Line Bash
At another underground party in 2015, tube drivers were the toast of the town.
One commuter was so grateful when a set of tube strikes, he decided to dance. The mysterious man, dressed in a dinner jacket, made a short announcement thanking the drivers.
He then invited the other passengers to join him in an impromptu dance party. Blasting Basement Jaxx from a small speaker, he soon got some commuters moving.
Liberators International, a group who organise flash mobs and silent discos around the world, posted a video of the dance party on their Youtube channel.
